Job summary

Honeywell in Arvada, CO is seeking a Senior Quality Control Inspector (1st shift) to perform dimensional and visual inspections on in-process and finished products, ensuring compliance with drawings and quality standards. You will apply metrology skills and GD&T, support manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QC inspection, quality technician, or metrology-related work in manufacturing.
• Strong background in dimensional inspection and use of precision measuring equipment.
• 3+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Basic computer skills and data entry into quality records or ERP.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, visual, and mechanical inspections using metrology equipment.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T, verify conformance to specs.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Develop inspection plans, sampling plans, and work instructions as needed.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to resolve concerns.
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives; monitor KPIs.
