Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation is seeking a dependable Utility Person to join our Production team on First Shift. This role supports multiple production areas, helps with line setup, and steps in for various positions as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

You'll operate equipment including the Depalletizer, forklift, and pallet jack after training, perform routine quality and safety tasks, and contribute to a clean, safe working environment in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required for production records.
• Able to accurately record production information.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Commitment to working safely in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production line setup and changeovers.
• Fill in for various production positions as assigned.
• Operate Depalletizer (Depal) and other equipment.
• Operate forklift and electric pallet jack when trained.
• Support ingredient and container handling operations.
• Perform duties of Closing Machine Operator and assist with sauce prep when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
