Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead the assigned department at Temecula. The role oversees safety, quality, productivity and employee performance, ensuring proper training and development of staff.

The position runs 5:00am–3:00pm Monday–Friday with overtime and Saturday availability as needed to meet business needs and customer requirements. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and understand English
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Computer literacy and ability to learn new software
• Ability to motivate personnel and work in a team environment
• Employee management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned department functions and personnel
• Staff and schedule personnel to meet production requirements while minimizing costs
• Plan departmental operations and prioritize manufacturing tasks
• Develop or revise standard operating practices and ensure adherence
• Enforce safety rules and employee conduct
• Drive process improvements, on-time delivery, and customer service
• Interview, hire, train, and coach employees
• Participate in Leadership Development Program for the location
