Job summary

Amerex Corporation is seeking a Production Assembler in the United States to use hand and power tools to assemble fire extinguisher parts and pack according to specifications. The role follows a 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, maintaining a clean, safe work area, and rotating through departments as needed, while lifting up to 50 lbs and complying with all safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass post-offer drug test, background check, and fitness review.
• Willing to train, work, and rotate through all department work stations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand tools or machines.
• Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following rules and procedures.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate manual dexterity on a fast-paced production line.
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and job procedures.
