Job summary

KEY Personnel, Inc. is seeking a 1st shift Operator in Holland, MI for a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a metal stamping client. The role involves operating machines, performing quality inspections, packing for shipment, and occasionally taking on extra duties as directed by the cell supervisor.

PPE includes steel-toe boots; expect dry, potentially greasy environments. Responsibilities include following directions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing or moving throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with good vision.
• Able to work as a team.
• Must pass drug test.
• Must pass felony background check.
• Steel toe or composite boots required.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/or testing quality inspections of product and complete inspection reports while operating a machine.
• Follow directions.
• Packing/Prepping for shipment.
• May be assigned additional duties by their cell supervisor (e.g., emptying scrap containers).
• Standing, bending, twisting and lifting 35–50 lbs; work in an air conditioned facility.
