Job summary

Dover Precision Components is seeking a 1st Shift Machine Operator to set up and operate machine tools including compression molding presses, blenders, ovens, and routing machines. The role requires following specifications, positioning tools, and ensuring parts meet tolerances while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and comfort with basic measuring tools; prior shop or mechanical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to measure parts using micrometers, calipers or other measuring tools.
• Prior shop or mechanical experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Follows job order for product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Selects, positions, and secures tool in tool holder.
• Moves controls to position press and work piece and set feeds, speeds, pressures.
• Observes operation and verifies conformance of work piece to specifications.
