Job summary

Phoenix Metals Company is seeking a warehouse/plant associate to supervise and perform metals processing and distribution tasks. The role involves operating equipment, moving inventory, pulling orders, and maintaining stock accuracy according to procedures.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain necessary certifications. Physical requirements include heavy work and safe handling of materials in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must meet MVR criteria per regulations and company policy.
• Warehousing and material handling experience preferred.
• Must obtain certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and fill customer orders.
• Pull material from racks, unload incoming materials, and load trucks.
• Place items into stock locations and maintain accurate tagging/documentation.
• Transport material using forklift, side loader, or crane as directed.
• Operate yard truck for loading/unloading trailers.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Restock materials and report irregularities to supervisor.
