Job summary

Olsten is assisting in recruiting for a 1st Shift Material Handler position at a Mullins, SC site. You will perform material handling tasks to support production, including supplying lines, moving materials, packing finished goods, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities include reading traceability sheets, labeling products, tracking production on schedule boards, and coordinating with others to stock goods.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and lower up to 70 pounds safely.
• Able to read packing labels and product information.
• Able to pull, stretch and bend for the duration of shift.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Capable of performing duties with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Reads traceability sheets to ensure the correct product is supplied to the lines and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Supplies lines with the materials to produce assemblies or finished products.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Track production on schedule boards.
• Notify supervisor of any material issues.
• Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Works with other material handlers to stock finished goods in proper location.
• Assist other Material Handlers organize and store raw and finished goods.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
