Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Worker in Waukesha, WI to support logistics and materials handling. You will process orders, coordinate with vendors, and ensure parts are sorted, stored, and ready for assembly or shipment.

The role emphasizes independent problem solving and a clean, safe work environment. The job involves handling AS/RS and high-rise storage, utilizing pallet jacks, and collaborating with shipping teams to meet domestic and international requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a material handler or similar warehouse role.
• Experience with inventory activities, including counting, tracking, and verifying materials.
• Knowledge of shipping processes for domestic and international shipments.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks safely and effectively.
• Computer skills to navigate order and shipping systems and update records.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase order requests and coordinate with vendors on status and timelines.
• Coordinate material handling runs between buildings for timely movement.
• Communicate with shipping personnel for shipment requirements.
• Use computer systems to update records and document status changes.
• Perform warehouse and storage activities, including sorting and palletized materials.
• Pull parts from AS/RS or high-rise storage to prepare for service or assembly.
• Deliver material to assembly areas in assembly-ready condition.
• Prepare parts for shipment, including packaging and weighing.
• Handle inventory tasks like counting and verification.
• Operate pallet jacks to move materials safely.
• Support shipping by staging and labeling outgoing orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per standards.
