Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in Duncan, SC is seeking a warehouse associate for 1st shift. You will pull parts for production, stock warehouse locations, and participate in shipping and receiving of materials.

You will operate a forklift, read data on a computer, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Requirements include 1+ year of warehouse experience, 2+ years forklift experience preferred, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• 2+ years of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a computer to read and input data.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Ability to think critically and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull parts for production areas and accurately stock parts in warehouse locations.
• Shipping/Receiving of outgoing & incoming materials.
• Maintain a clean/organized work area and maintain equipment accordingly.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Complete production and quality assurance forms.
• Participate actively in team meetings and group discussions.
• Adhere to Quality Management System Requirements.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
