Allegion is hiring a Utility Operator for the FIRST SHIFT in McKenzie, TN. Starting pay is $19.08 per hour. Join a stable team and develop your skills with our training and benefits.

You will operate machines safely, set up tooling, monitor quality, organize the work area, perform preventative maintenance, and assist others as needed. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; we value a willingness to learn. We offer health, dental, vision insurance from day one and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous operating experience helpful.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screen and background checks.
• Team player attitude and reliability.
• Manual dexterity and steady hands.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in a safe manner per SOP.
• Set up tooling or station based on SOP.
• Monitor processes to ensure quality and document operations.
• Verify inspections completed before moving parts to the next work cell.
• Organize and maintain the work area.
• Maintain machines per preventative maintenance documentation.
• Perform advanced tasks under minimal supervision.
• Assist less experienced team members.
