Job summary

Staffworks Group in Slinger, WI is seeking experienced masons and masons’ tenders for a first-shift role. The position offers up to $35/hour based on experience, with opportunities to advance alongside skilled craftsmen who emphasize safety and quality craftsmanship.

The role involves cutting, shaping, laying stone, and restoring masonry using modern and traditional tools. Candidates should be able to read drawings, perform hard physical work, and commit to a 3-year apprenticeship path.

Qualifications

• Able to work in all types of weather and environments.
• Ability to read and assess technical drawings accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keenness to learn.
• Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks with proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, dress and lay stone to project specs.
• Lift materials and carry heavy objects safely.
• Prepare blocks and mix cement/mortar as needed.
• Texture, polish, and install dressed stone on structures.
• Restore old masonry and work with power and hand tools.
