Job summary

United Alloy in Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented Stock/Kitting Associate to support Purchasing, Receiving, and Shop Floor by assembling hardware per BOMs. You will count, kit, and verify parts, perform stockroom transactions, and help maintain accurate inventory records in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math and measurement skills, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to follow safety protocols and job instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-discipline and motivation.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe manufacturing and material handling practices.
• Identify hardware components on BOMs and count stock.
• Use ruler, tape measure, and caliper for accurate measurements.
• Perform accurate production activity counts and cycle counts.
• Print receiving reports and verify incoming materials against vendor numbers.
• Cross-train in Receiving functions.
• Stop production when nonconforming parts are detected.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Physically pick and kit jobs for production.
• Other duties as assigned.
