Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for first shift positions in Tennessee. The role pays a starting rate of $20.15 per hour with increases for second and third shifts and potential overtime.

The site emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and the production of sausage products in a five‑day operation. Responsibilities include peeling rework from KP’s and Douglas area, maintaining clean workstations, and transporting meat to rework areas while adhering to quality and paperwork standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in temperatures ≤35°F for 8 hours.
• Ability to safely lift tubs up to 100 lb with team effort.
• Uphold SQF 2000 and GMP requirements.
• Effective communication with all levels of management.
• Familiar with safe operation of production line conveyors.

Responsibilities

• Peel out rework from KP’s and Douglas area.
• Clean tubs and maintain workstation cleanliness.
• Transport meat from X-Ray station to rework areas.
• Track clips to prevent rework entering finished product.
• Ensure proper rework is returned to the correct product.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain documentation.
