Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a dependable 1st Shift Forklift Driver in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves operating sit-down, stand-up, reach, or pallet-jack forklifts to load/unload, move, and stock materials while maintaining safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience in warehouse environments, can lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and be punctual. Certification is preferred but training may be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or electric pallet jack forklifts as assigned.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently while ensuring product accuracy and minimizing damage.
• Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and transport products to designated locations.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Accurately complete inventory transactions using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
