Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in La Vergne, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator II for 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday with weekends as needed.

You will move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensure secure outbound loads, and document activities in SAP/CONA handhelds. The role requires safety-focused operation, ability to read SOPs, and capability to work in a dynamic, high-tempo distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack certification required.
• Switcher operation certification required.
• Class A CDL where required.

Responsibilities

• Move vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill requests.
• Secure outbound loads with protective wrapping and attach docs (STO).
• Load and unload trailers to support deliveries; update SAP/CONA via handhelds.
• Perform safety and housekeeping duties including pre- and post-trip checks.
• Assist staging equipment and yard maintenance as needed.
• Operate a switcher to move 53' and pup trailers to the dock.
