Job summary

WSI (Warehouse Specialists, LLC) is seeking a 1st Shift Fork Lift Operator to keep operations moving. This full-time role runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends, holidays, or overtime. You’ll assist in safe, reliable, and high-quality material handling and report to the Facility Manager. Key duties include operating a lift truck to pick orders, load/unload trucks and railcars, and performing inventory control to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.

Job description

Jumpstart your day in a hands-on role that keeps our operations moving as a 1st Shift Fork Lift Operator, where you’ll play a key role in safe, reliable, and high-quality material handling. This full-time opportunity runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday, reports to the Facility Manager, and may occasionally include weekends, holidays, or overtime. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Operate a lift truck to pick orders, load and unload trucks and railcars
• Perform inventory control activities to ensure accurate product records
• Serve our customers through providing accurate correspondence on inbound and outbound orders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience operating lift truck attachments including sit down forklift, reach truck, and RF Scanning experience preferred
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and railcars using lift truck equipment
• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift and travel between facilities as needed
• Demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork
• Previous knowledge or a desire to learn about the product being handled
• Positive, clear, and professional communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 1 year of previous lift truck experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in warehouse environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Must be willing and able to slide, push, or pull cases up to 60 pounds
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
