Job summary

Legends Global at Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland is seeking a dedicated Full Time First Shift Security Officer to promote safety and security during events and daily operations. The role involves patrols, access control, and assisting guests with information while maintaining a calm environment.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months of security experience, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and a valid driver's license or ability to obtain one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months security experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification desirable.
• OPOTA certification beneficial but not required.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises, personnel and guests through patrols and access control.
• Maintain safety and calm environment; monitor CCTV and assist with emergencies.
• Greet guests, provide directions and information in a courteous manner.
• Document shifts and incidents; complete reports and logs.
• Respond to alarms and incidents; operate fire alarm and command center as needed.
