Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Receiving Manager for the Waterloo, IA Distribution Center. The role leads a team of hourly associates on a 1st shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM) with potential OT.

responsibilities include supervising inbound receiving, mentoring staff, and coordinating with HQ and drivers to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate has strong warehouse operations experience, prior management, and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong background in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Prior management or people leadership experience.
• Experience in Receiving/Inbound and inventory control.
• Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unloading and stocking of inbound shipments, ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Mentor team on receiving procedures and safe work practices.
• Communicate with clerks, HQ, and drivers about inbound deliveries and schedules.
• Resolve issues with purchase orders and receiving documents; ensure documentation is complete.
