Job summary

Bright Innovation Labs in New Albany, OH is seeking Compounding Technicians to join our expanding team. This full-time, direct-hire role emphasizes precision, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment for personal care products.

You will mix, compound, and test ingredients, ensuring each batch meets specifications and quality standards while following GMP and SOP guidelines. Forklift certification is required, and prior compounding experience is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of compounding experience; experience in a cosmetic or personal care manufacturing environment preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish a plus.
• Basic math proficiency (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
• Ability to interpret instructions and carry them out effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mix, compound, process, test, adjust, and modify ingredients to complete the manufacturing process of personal care products.
• Ensure all production meets customer specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with the Compounding Supervisor/Manager and production staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Maintain strict compliance with GMP, SOP, and Safety Procedures at all times.
• Inspect and monitor in-process production for accuracy and compliance.
• Safely handle, store, and manage all materials required for production.
• Adhere to all OSHA regulations, safety policies, labor laws, and company standards.
• Inspect and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Participate in ongoing company training, including GMP, SOP, safety, and cross-training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.
