Job summary

Composition Brands in Greenville, Michigan seeks an experienced Assembler I-IV for first shift. Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.85 per hour with a 5:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule and overtime as needed.

The role involves hands-on assembly of refrigeration and ice products, working with the production team to maintain high quality and efficiency. Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented, capable of standing for long periods, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical computations required to complete production records.
• Ability to use a tape measure and common hand tools.
• Able to stand on concrete surfaces for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good hand-eye coordination for high-volume assembly processes.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Secures and maintains component parts and supplies for the operation.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed procedures and quality standards.
• Operates presses and machinery or hand tools to complete assembly.
• Stacks completed products per established procedures.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Checks materials and finished products for standards compliance.
• Follows safety and quality procedures, rules and standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
