Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking a First Officer to ensure safe journeys and professional guest experiences. The role is a union represented position requiring strong aviation credentials and the ability to domicile in Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Anchorage, AK; Portland, OR; or San Francisco, CA.

The position requires comprehensive flight experience, FAA certifications, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1,500 total flight hours.
• Current First Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Minimum of 500 hours fixed-wing turbine time.
• Passport with unrestricted travel and six months validity.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• ATP certificate and related experience per regulations.
• English communication skills.
• Domicile options include Seattle/LA/Anchorage/Portland/San Francisco.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Second in Command on flights.
• Comply with FARs, procedures, and policies for safety.
• Operate aircraft per standards and manuals.
• Communicate with agencies and personnel per practices.
