Qualifications

• At least one year of student teaching or approved internship required.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively.
• Must maintain emotional control and exercise reasoning and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned.
• Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Texas Education Agency.
• Access and use available data for instructional strategies.
• Work cooperatively with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aide(s) and/or volunteer(s).
