Qualifications

• Must possess a valid North Carolina commercial driver’s license.
• Experience in electric line construction and maintenance work.
• Ability to work on high voltage lines and follow safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Participates in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines.
• Operates bucket equipment and line truck for high work.
• Assists in power outage emergencies and repairs.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical principles

Education

Graduation from high school

Line worker certifications (Advanced Line Technician or Journey Level Line Technician)
