Job summary

The Law Office of Erin Morse in Central Florida seeks an experienced Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of Florida litigation experience, preferably in family law, to join our growing practice. You will own cases, appear in court, and drive litigation strategy from client engagement through resolution or trial.

We handle complex family law matters including divorce, custody disputes, asset division, and related enforcement or GAL issues.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 3–5 years Florida litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong courtroom experience and trial preparation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a family law caseload from engagement to settlement, trial, and post-judgment proceedings.
• Develop case strategy and provide clients with clear legal options and outcomes.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, settlements, orders, and other documents.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Negotiate with opposing counsel and litigate when necessary.
• Consult with prospective clients and help them decide on representation.
