Job summary

BRCC seeks an Adjunct Faculty - First Aid to prepare and implement instruction in first aid, CPR, and basic life support. You will provide hands-on demonstrations, assess student performance, and ensure safety.

Teaching may occur in the evenings, weekends, online or dual enrollment as needed, under the supervision of the program manager. Minimum one year of training experience and current ARC/AHA first aid certification plus instructor certification are required.

• Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize technology in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience communicating with diverse populations including students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach first aid, CPR and basic life support courses as assigned.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and student assessments.
• Ensure student safety and track performance.
• Support institution mission and adhere to policies; report to program manager/chair.
