Mesa Labs in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Firmware Engineer to design, code, debug, and maintain firmware for embedded systems, collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure reliable operation and smooth hardware integration.

You will apply C, C++, assembly, and machine language, participate in testing and troubleshooting, support OS interactions with hardware, and pursue ongoing learning while building increasing technical independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, debug, and maintain firmware for embedded systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize embedded code for functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware, electrical, and systems engineers on design reviews and integration efforts.
• Document and communicate issues, fixes, and improvements to cross-functional teams.
