Job summary

Kindredventures is seeking a firmware engineer to shape devices at the intersection of UX and hardware in power- and latency-constrained environments. You will write low-level code for RTOS and bare-metal systems, with C/C++ and Python tooling across the product lifecycle.

You will partner with hardware and design teams, integrate Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, and other wireless tech, manage power, and build test frameworks and OTA update systems to deliver delightful consumer experiences.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in firmware development.
• Fluent in C/C++ for RTOS and bare-metal environments, Python for tooling, and hardware debugging.
• Integrate wireless connectivity (Bluetooth, BLE, Wi‑Fi) for latency-constrained real-time multimedia applications.
• Develop manufacturing test frameworks and field debugging tools that ensure quality at scale.
• Partner with hardware and design teams to create seamless user experiences.
• Design over-the-air firmware update systems that are robust and simple to deploy.
