Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking an experienced firmware engineer to design and develop firmware for industrial components, safety devices, and sensing products. You will implement CIP-based communication, perform unit and functional testing, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure robust integration.

The role emphasizes reliability, safety compliance, and efficient debugging across development and deployment cycles. A strong background in C++ and ARM-based multi-core systems is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in C++ and firmware development.
• Experience working with multi-core processors (ARM or equivalent).
• Experience with CIP protocol implementations in industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for industrial components and sensing products.
• Design and develop unit testing and functional testing for product code.

• Report and verify exceptions/bugs.
