Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a field-based laborer to support construction and maintenance tasks under direct supervision of Site Manager. You will help prepare sites, operate tools, and assist with hazardous materials handling.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 60 pounds, pass pre-employment physical and drug screen, and willingness to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, 18+ years old, ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Maintain 40 hour HAZWOPER and applicable 8 hour refresher if required.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel on short notice.
• 0–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare project sites to eliminate hazards.
• Operate small hand and power tools; decontaminate equipment.
• May operate road and off-road haul and water trucks.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Perform Firewatch duties.
• Support field efforts on general construction labor and maintenance tasks.

Job description

• Operate small hand and power tools, decontamination of equipment.
• May be asked to operate on road and off road haul and water trucks.
