Job summary

The Hayes Company is hiring a Fireplace Installer / Service Technician to install and service gas, direct-vent, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces across the Kansas City area. You'll work on new construction and existing homes, traveling to job sites and ensuring safety while delivering quality craftsmanship.

Fireplace experience is a plus, but training is available for the right hands-on candidate. We offer full-time, year-round work with a salary range of $50,000–$60,000+ per year, plus

Responsibilities

• Install gas, direct-vent, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces
• Load and unload fireplaces, tools, and materials
• Install fireplace units and venting systems and start-up the fireplaces
• Troubleshoot, repair and service existing fireplaces
• Travel to job sites across the Kansas City area
• Maintain clean and organized tools, vehicle, and work spaces
