Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain Georgia firefighting NPQ 1 and NPQ 2 certifications.
• Hazmat Operations and EMT-Advanced certification required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for fire suppression, medical aid, hazmat incidents, and other emergencies.
• Assist in rescue, ventilation, and suppression operations as directed by officers.
• Maintain and inspect equipment, vehicles, and facilities to ensure operability.
• Participate in drills, training, and community fire-education activities.
• Support fire prevention programs and public safety demonstrations.
