The City of Steamboat Springs is seeking a Firefighter-Paramedic (entry-level or lateral) to join Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue. The role blends firefighting with advanced EMS, including life support and patient care in a dynamic municipal setting.

Pay range is $80,452 to $111,263 per year, with eligibility for merit and a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(a) plan. Seasonal staff may receive ski and skate passes and related benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado EMT-P or National Registry EMT-P with ability to obtain Colorado EMT-P before date of hire.
• ACLS certification is required.
• Healthcare provider CPR certification is required.
• Must be 21+, US citizen or eligible to work in USA, no felonies.

Responsabilités

• Respond to emergency calls including fires, medicals, and vehicle accidents.
• Provide basic and advanced life support and patient assessment.
• Operate and maintain firefighting and medical equipment and vehicles.
• Record patient information and communicate with physicians and supervisors.
• Participate in drills, training, and community education programs.
