Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• California paramedic licensure with accreditation in San Diego County at time of hire, maintained throughout employment.
• ACLS and CPR cards required at time of hire; CPR and ACLS must be current.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire, medical, and other emergency calls as part of an emergency response team.
• Provide emergency medical care and manage patient care at the scene and on ambulances.
• Drive and operate staff vehicles and paramedic ambulances as required; obtain and maintain certifications.
• Maintain records and prepare written reports; participate in drills, trainings, and community education.
