Responsibilities

• Responds to fire calls and uses firefighting skills to control emergencies.
• Operates pumps, ladders, hoses, and firefighting equipment at scenes.
• Provides emergency medical care at the first responder level.
• Performs PPE inspections and maintains equipment.
• Completes incident reports and required training/certifications.
• Inspects equipment, maintains vehicles, and handles routine maintenance.
• Participates in fire prevention, safety education, and public tours.
