Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No felony convictions.

• Alabama Firefighter I and II Certification.
• Must obtain Alabama EMT License and National Registry EMT within 1 year of employment.
• Must possess a CPAT certificate.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency incidents and provide medical care.
• Transport patients and assist in fire suppression.
• Perform vehicle extrication and rescue operations.
• Complete incident reports as required.
• Conduct daily inspections of fire apparatus and equipment.
