Job summary

Pasco County is seeking a Firefighter/EMT to join our emergency response team. You will provide basic life support, transport patients, and assist in firefighting operations while safeguarding life and property.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent diploma.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
• Current Florida EMT-Basic certificate and BLS/ACLS as required by the organization.
• CPAT or in-house physical abilities test required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support and transportation of patients.
• Respond to fires and rescue calls as part of the pre-hospital emergency care team.
• Operate fire apparatus and drive as assigned; participate in drills and training.
• Complete incident reports and maintain equipment and quarters.
• Maintain safety and adhere to DOT EMT-Basic standards.
