Qualifications
- Must have IFSAC or Pro Board Hazmat Ops certification (Proof Required)
- Must have IFSAC or Pro Board Firefighter I & II certification (Proof Required)
- Must have ICS-100 & 200 certification (Proof Required)
- Must have ICS-700 & 800 certification (Proof Required)
- Either certification as IFSAC/Pro Board Apparatus Operator - Pumper or willingness to obtain within 24 months (Proof Required)
- Either certification as IFSAC/Pro Board Fire Inspector I and II or willingness to obtain within 24 months (Proof Required)
- Current EMT-Basic certification (Proof Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Proof Required)
Responsibilities
- Control or extinguish fires; rescue persons; reduce fire hazards.
- Provide basic life support and non-invasive medical procedures.
- Operate firefighting and rescue equipment; communicate incidents.
- Meet medical and physical requirements and perform required tests.
- Maintain required certifications and undergo periodic medical exams.
