Job summary

Runnings in Brookings, SD is seeking a part-time Sales Associate with a passion for firearms to join our Sporting Goods team. You will engage customers, answer product questions, and provide expert guidance in a retail setting. Must be 21+ due to federal regulations on firearm sales.

Pay range $14.00-$15.00 per hour depending on experience. Key duties include greeting customers, pricing and stocking merchandise, receiving freight, assisting in cycle counts, and processing transactions with KCX

Qualifications

Customer-focused sales role in a firearms-focused retail environment.
Must be at least 21 years old due to federal regulations on firearms sales.
Retail experience is preferred but not required.
Physical/mental requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and assist with questions.
Price and change store merchandise as directed by management.
Stock and face merchandise on shelves.
Receive freight and organize incoming products as directed.
Assist in cycle counts.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
Process transactions using KCX cash register system and maintain accurate cash handling.
