Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse in West Jordan, Utah, seeks a Firearm Services Coordinator to support firearm services across divisions as part of daily operations.

You will perform data entry for firearm set ups, assist with the sign builder program for used gun tags, support ATF compliance reviews, and facilitate transfers between stores while coordinating with corporate offices. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and proficient use of Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; firearm industry experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Description

Purpose of Position:

The Firearm Services Coordinator will provide organizational support for firearm services, and associated divisions, within the company as part of day to day operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Data entry into internal systems for firearms set up
• Enter and support internal sign builder program for used firearm gun tag creation
• Support ATF Compliance team in systematic review of firearm set up
• Provide store support for facilitation of transfers
• Communicate effectively within corporate office departments and retail store locations
• Teach and train stores in evaluating and buying firearms
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• A working knowledge of firearms and firearm manufacturers, firearm terminology, as well as understanding of firearm accessories and calibers
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to be responsive to changing business needs, manage and prioritize concurrent assignments
• An excellent knowledge of Office software, such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
