Job summary

FCFEMS in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Fire Training Captain to lead training programs and drive the development and readiness of our firefighting personnel. The role emphasizes instruction, program oversight, and ensuring operational preparedness across teams.

The successful candidate will coordinate curricula, manage training schedules, and uphold certifications and safety standards within a municipal fire department setting.

Qualifications

• IFSAC 1&2 or 400-hour state certified firefighter.
• IFSAC Engineer (Engines, Aerials, MWS).
• Level 1 Fire Instructor.
• Kentucky certified EMT.
• Haz-Mat Technician.
• Fire Officer 1.
• NIMS 300.
• NIMS 400.

Responsibilities
