Job summary

Koorsen Fire & Security in Nashville, TN is seeking Fire Systems Inspectors for an onsite role. You will inspect and test fire alarm and sprinkler systems, document deficiencies, and ensure customers understand system functionality.

The position offers hourly pay of $19-$30 with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, opportunities for career growth, health insurance, a 401(k) match, and paid holidays. Must meet licensing and drug/background checks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with sprinkler systems, repairs, preventive maintenance, and some installation.
• At least 1 year of mechanical experience, working with machines and hand tools.
• Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Experience with electronic testing devices.
• Pass drug and background screenings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications.
• Valid driver's license.

• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• NICET certification

Physical Demands:

• Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools.
• Walking several miles per day across the customer location.
• Lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.; push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.
• Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet, use a man lift, and reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform services.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear.
