Job summary

Koorsen Fire and Security in Dayton, OH is seeking a Fire Systems Inspector to inspect, test, and document Fire Alarm and Sprinkler systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance. You will work with customers to explain how their system operates and uphold Koorsen policies.

Requirements include 1+ year in Fire Life Safety or related field, ability to read diagrams and blueprints, experience with electronic testing devices, and a valid driver's license.

Salary up to $35/HOUR, DEPENDING UPON EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Backflow, Fire Alarm or Standpipe license

Physical Demands

• Able to safely and effectively use general hand and power tools.
• Lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.; push and pull more significant than 75 lbs.
• Climb a ladder reaching a height of at least 12 feet, use a man lift, and reach heights exceeding 40 feet to perform services.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

HIRING PROCESS
