Job summary

Impact Fire Services, LLC is seeking a Technician to provide inspections, service and sales of fire suppression components, including extinguishers and hood systems. You will meet weekly service and productivity goals, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle and work area.

The role supports ongoing training and development through apprenticeship programs, with opportunities to work alongside experienced fire protection professionals across multiple markets.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Fire Suppression is a strong plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of applicable inspection and servicing codes is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.
  • Satisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug test.
  • A strong work ethic and professional appearance.
  • Ability to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage time to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining quality.
  • Achieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the manager.
  • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain the applicable local/state Fire Equipment Certificate of Competency.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Work safely per company procedures including driving, PPE, and lockout/tag-out policies.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean and organized condition.

The Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner. The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals. The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his/herself, co-workers and customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Preferred Qualifications but not required:
  • Experience either in the fire protection industry or the commercial customer service business in some capacity is a plus but not required.
  • An electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work is a plus.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
