Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems in Austin, TX, is seeking skilled Fire Suppression Technicians for our industrial division to join a team of professionals dedicated to safety and reliability. You will perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of clean agent systems, diagnose issues, install equipment, and service or repair as needed.

Excellent customer interaction is expected, working with clients and contractors to ensure compliant and safe operations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience, training or education in inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of suppression equipment
• Experience with a variety of product lines
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of clean agent systems
• Diagnose and evaluate systems requiring servicing and troubleshoot issues
• Install suppression equipment and service/repair suppression equipment

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking skilled Fire Suppression Technicians for our industrial division to join our team of over 1200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry.

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of clean agent systems with minimal supervision


• Diagnose and evaluate systems that require servicing as well as troubleshoot issues that arise


• Installation of suppression equipment and the service, repair and maintenance of suppression equipment


• Interact with customers, contractors, vendors and other employees in a respectful, professional manner


• 2 to 3 years work experience, training or education in the inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of suppression equipment


• Experience or training with a variety of product lines

Requirements

• Texas FEL-K license required


• Have a professional appearance and demeanor, values cleanliness and organization.


• Willing to learn and ask for help when needed.
