Job summary

Impact Fire Services in Mount Holly Springs, PA is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Technician to perform routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler and standpipe systems. You will test, inspect, and troubleshoot equipment, document work orders on a tablet, and support on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment.
• Assist with flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, main drain tests, and hydrant tests.
• Operate Rigid power machine and thread and groove pipe; ensure proper head spacing.
• Accurately complete work orders on a company tablet and return field paperwork on time.
• Be available for off-hour emergency service calls and on-call schedule.
• Interface with customers to explain work to be performed and address questions respectfully.
• Provide accurate and complete information on reports.
• Manage time on the job and travel to sites.

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist with the performance of routine service and maintenance of fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment.
• Assist with the performance of flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, main drain tests, trip test dry valves, and test hydrants.
• Operate Rigid power machine and thread and groove pipe, as well as, proper head spacing.
• Accurately complete work orders on a company issued tablet and return field paperwork on time.
• Be available for off-hour emergency service calls and the on-call schedule assigned
• Interface with customers to explain work to be performed, answer their questions, and address their concerns in a knowledgeable and respectful manner.
• Provide accurate and complete information on reports
• Manage time including time on the job as well as time on road to job sites.

Job Requirements:

• Experience servicing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Must possess a valid drivers' license in addition to a good driving record.

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
