Job summary

Marmic Fire and Safety is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Superintendent in Little Rock, AR. You will oversee installation, maintenance, and management of fire sprinkler systems, lead a technicians team, ensure projects meet high standards, and comply with industry regulations.

You will be the key liaison between clients and Marmic, delivering complex projects with exceptional service quality and maintaining safety and professionalism across the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Construction experience (Fire Sprinkler).
  • Fire Sprinkler State License required.
  • Strong financial acumen related to operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage field installations including labor, materials and expenses.
  • Represent Marmic Fire in field site meetings.
  • Maintain equipment and materials to meet scope with minimal downtime.
  • Identify out-of-scope work and communicate changes to PM/Sales.
  • Deliver scope to technicians and subcontractors clearly.
  • Ensure timely documentation and close-out activities.
  • Maintain weekly updated redline drawings.
  • Promote safety, integrity, and professional teamwork.

Position Summary

The Fire Sprinkler Superintendent at Marmic Fire and Safety is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and management of fire sprinkler systems. This role involves leading a team of technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The Superintendent will act as a key liaison between clients and the company, ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects and exceptional service quality.

Core Responsibilities
  • Management/responsibility of Field Installations, including direct labor, materials, and expenses.
  • Represent Marmic Fire in field site meetings.
  • Maintain the necessary equipment and material to effectively perform work with no lost time to fully understand, follow, and communicate contractual scope.
  • Identify out of scope work.
  • Communicate potential scope changes to pm/sales.
  • Effectively deliver scope to technicians.
  • Effectively deliver scope to subcontractors.
  • Documentation and communication.
  • Technical writing ability to effectively communicate to clients, managers and technicians.
  • On time completion and storing of daily needs logs.
  • Execute close out documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain weekly updated redline drawings.
  • Maintain team environment with positive communication to field technicians to insure our commitment to safety, integrity, commitment, growth, and professionalism.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings be familiar with installation techniques of electrical and mechanical portions of project.
  • Have the ability to travel, potential for extended periods of time.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of Construction experience (Fire Sprinkler)
  • Fire Sprinkler State License.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles relative to operations.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time at a desk and working on a computer.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings, with ongoing compliance throughout employment.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment over 50 lbs, and working in challenging positions such as climbing ladders, using high lift equipment, and working in confined spaces.
