Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in Greenville, South Carolina is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to install and test fire suppression equipment per engineered plans. This role requires reading plans, following instructions, and coordinating with field supervisors to fit site requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of pipefitting experience related to fire sprinkler systems, a valid driver’s license, and a safety-conscious mindset.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in pipefitting related to fire sprinkler systems and fire protection codes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to read plans and documents and discern colors for safety signage.
• Willingness for professional development and growth.

Responsibilities

• Install and test fire suppression equipment per designed plans and communicate design changes as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and risk management on all job sites per company policies.
• Oversee materials delivered to site and manage minor fabrication and coordination with supervisors/owners.
• Direct and inspect assigned helpers to meet deadlines.
