Job summary

VSC Fire & Security in El Paso, TX is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to install, test and service sprinkler systems on site. You will follow design plans, communicate changes, and oversee on-site personnel while ensuring safety procedures are followed.

The role requires 2–3 years of sprinkler system installation experience and strong reading/comprehension of plans and specs. Excellent pay offered ($25.00–$35.00 per hour) with overtime eligibility, company vehicle, insurance options,

• Two to three years of experience in installation of sprinkler systems.
• Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to establish productivity onsite and set goals for employees to meet deadlines.
• Competent in reading plans, documents, meters, and to discern colors for safety signage.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test and service sprinkler systems.
• Follow design plans for installation jobs and communicate any design, perform service and deficiency jobs, and communicate and document any changes.
• Responsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site. Function as the company representative on job site and may oversee day-to-day work of other employees assigned to the job.
• Maintain proper risk management and safety procedures on all job sites per company policies.
