Century Fire Protection in Cartersville, GA, is seeking an entry-level helper to assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems on construction and retrofit projects. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0–2 years of experience.
• Construction or mechanical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist fire sprinkler installers with system installation activities.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, pipe, fittings, and tools.
• Cut, thread, and prep pipe under supervision.
• Hang pipes, install hangers, and set sprinkler heads.
• Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and on-the-job training.

Education And/or Experience

Physical Demands

Frequent standing, walking, crouching/bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights; ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; ability to work in confined spaces and variable weather conditions; exposure to noise, dust, and construction environments.
